Scroll of Summon Monster 0.5 0 Summons up to 4 monsters that are generated at the current dungeon level.
Scroll of Darkness 0.5 0 Darkens all squares within 3 squares of the character, plus the entire room if he or she is currently in one; blinds the character for 3+1d5 turns, unless he or she has blindness resistance.
Scroll of Aggravate Monster 0.5 0 Awakens all sleeping monsters within 40 squares of the character, and hastes all monsters within line of sight unless they are already hasted.
Scroll of Trap Creation 0.5 0 Creates traps on all squares surrounding the character (this does not affect objects on stairs on these squares).
Scroll of Summon Undead 0.5 0 Summons 1d3 undead monsters (a "monster" here can mean a unique complete with escort, or a pack of monsters that normally appears in groups).
Scroll of Curse Weapon 0.5 0 Curses the currently wielded melee weapon, removing all of its special powers and changing the weapon's to-hit and to-dam bonuses both to -2d5.
Artifacts have a 1 in 2 chance to resist.
Scroll of Curse Armor 0.5 0 Curses the currently equipped body armor, removing all of its special powers, reducing the base AC of the armor to 0, and changing the magical AC bonus of the armor to -2d5. Artifacts have a 1 in 2 chance to resist.
Scroll of Satisfy Hunger 0.5 10 Magically renders the character well-fed (but not satiated). This will also cure a bloated stomach.
Scroll of Light 0.5 15 Lights up an area with a radius of 2 squares, and if the character is currently inside of a room this lights up the entire room as well. This inflicts 2d8 damage on any light-sensitive creatures within the affected area.
Scroll of Treasure Detection 0.5 15 Detects all treasure in the immediate area.
Scroll of Object Detection 0.5 15 Detects all objects in the immediate area.
Scroll of Phase Door 0.5 15 Teleports the character randomly up to 10 squares away.
Scroll of Detect Invisible 0.5 15 Detects all invisible monsters in the immediate area.
Scroll of Blessing 0.5 15 Blesses the character for 6+1d12 turns.
Scroll of Monster Confusion 0.5 30 This enchants the character with an aura of confusion that causes his or her hands to glow red. The enchantment is dissipated when the character strikes a monster or vice versa; in either case an attempt is made to confuse the monster upon contact.
Scroll of Trap Detection 0.5 35 Detects all traps in the immediate area.
Scroll of Door/Stair Location 0.5 35 Detects all stairs and secret doors in the immediate area.
Scroll of Magic Mapping 0.5 40 Maps out a portion of the level centered on the character.
Scroll of Teleportation 0.5 40 Teleports the character randomly up to 100 squares away.
Scroll of Holy Chant 0.5 40 Blesses the character for 12+1d24 turns.
Scroll of Identify 0.5 50  
Scroll of Trap/Door Destruction 0.5 50 Destroys all traps and doors within a 1-square radius of the character.
Scroll of Teleport Level 0.5 50 Teleports the character either 1 level up or 1 level down (chosen at random). The direction will always be down from the town level, and up from level 99 if Sauron has not been killed or level 100 if Morgoth has not been killed.
Scroll of Protection from Evil 0.5 50 Grants the character the enchantment of protection from evil for a duration equal to 1d25 plus three times the character's level.
Scroll of Holy Prayer 0.5 80 Blesses the character for 24+1d48 turns.
Scroll of Remove Curse 0.5 100 Removes normal curses from among equipped items. Heavily or permanently cursed items are not affected by this.
Scroll of Enchant Weapon To-Hit 0.5 125 Attempts to magically enhance a weapon's to-hit bonus once.
Scroll of Enchant Weapon To-Dam 0.5 125 Attempts to magically enhance a weapon's to-dam bonus once.
Scroll of Enchant Armor 0.5 125 Attempts to enchant a piece of armor once.
Scroll of Word of Recall 0.5 150 Invokes the spell of recall.
Scroll of Recharging 0.5 200 Recharges a wand, staff, or rod. If successful, a wand or staff gains 2+1d(60/((level of wand/staff)+2)+1) charges; failure occurs 1 time in (160-(level of wand/staff)-(10*(# of charges)))/15, and destroys the wand or staff. A rod will be charged enough to take 60*(2d4) fewer turns to recharge fully; failure occurs 1 time in (160-(level of rod))/5, and will double the time necessary for the rod to charge, plus another 200 turns.
Scroll of Dispel Undead 0.5 200 Inflicts 1d60 damage on all undead creatures within line of sight of the character.
Scroll of *Destruction* 0.5 250 Destroys a circular area centered at the character with a radius of 15 squares, randomly placing new walls and floor space (stairs are immune). All monsters and objects (excluding artifacts) are removed from the affected area. This effect will also cause blindness lasting for 10+1d10 turns unless the character has resistance to either blindness or light.
Scroll of *Enchant Weapon* 0.5 500 Attempts to magically enhance a weapon's to-dam and to-hit bonuses 1d3 times each.
Scroll of *Enchant Armor* 0.5 500 Attempts to enchant a piece of armor 2+1d3 times.
Scroll of Rune of Protection 0.5 500 Inscribes a glyph of warding beneath the character. This will repel melee attacks (but not spells or breath) from monsters; an adjacent monster has a (monster level) in 550 chance of breaking the glyph each time it moves.
Scroll of Genocide 0.5 750 Removes all monsters represented by a chosen symbol from the level. 1d4 damage is inflicted on the character for every monster removed. Unique monsters are immune to the magic.
Scroll of *Identify* 0.5 1000 Reveals all the special powers of an equippable item, and also permanently implants this knowledge into the character's mind, so that the character will never forget it even if hit by magical amnesia.
Scroll of Mass Genocide 0.5 1000 Removes all monsters with in line of sight of the character. 1d3 damage is inflicted on the character for every monster removed. Unique monsters are immune to the magic.
Scroll of *Remove Curse* 0.5 8000 Removes all ordinary curses and heavy curses from equipped objects. Permanent curses are unaffected.
Scroll of Acquirement 0.5 100000 Creates one item of great quality on the floor near the character.
Scroll of *Acquirement* 0.5 200000 Creates 1+1d2 items of great quality on the ground near the character.
